Our hair extensions are made of the highest quality remy Indian hair which means that all of the hair cuticles are running in the same direction with the roots and ends correctly aligned resulting in a smooth tangle free application. We do not acid wash our hair. We use special care when processing / coloring our hair. We do not cheat our customers or hair quality with silicone or protein coatings, as there is no need to coat hair that is in good condition. Because all of our hair is 100% Human Indian Hair it can be curled, ironed and blow dried, just like natural hair. It is 100% Remy hair and remains tangle free with the proper care.

There are many different names used for different methods. The Hair Extension Systems we offer are:

U-Tip (also known as cold fusion, nail tip, or keratin tip strand method)

HAIR 101:

Most Human Hair used for extensions is derived from Asia (China, India, and to a very small degree, Southeastern Russia). Lower-quality “Human Hair” extensions are often diluted with animal and synthetic hair to lower the price.

Human Hair is more versatile than Synthetic Hair because it can be colored, relaxed, or curled with heating appliances just as one would do with his or her own hair. European texture hair (Europeans do not generally sell their hair, so called “European hair” usually comes from India or China). All of the hair extensions we sell are of Indian descent, straight and body wave textures.

There are different grades of hair. The highest grade comes from young donors, is gently processed, careful not to damage the cuticles, and of “Remy” designation. Remy means the hair’s cuticles are facing the direction in which they grew. The same maintenance that one would apply to his or her own hair should be applied to the Human Hair to keep it in good condition.

High quality 100% Human Hair is more expensive than hair mixed with other materials (synthetic Hair is most common). Indian Hair has its own inherent advantages: it is simultaneously thin and strong. The hair is shaved in a ceremony previous to marriage, and then put through an osmosis process where the color pigment is removed. Then over a period of several weeks the color pigment is saturated back into the hair cuticles with several color options.
